Actually, we are below the level that introduced the Tec de Monterrey, the UDLA, ITAM, the Ibero or our traditional rival UNAM (educationally). Begin with the budget that gives the SEP to public universities is great but most is owned UNAM, followed by UPN (Pedagogic university National), and the UAM after the IPN. From this point of view our academic level has to compete with uneven playing field and that having more budget means have a higher quality of education, just to reflect, the IPN appears in this renking as 3rd place. That could be achieved with a better budget? Here is the ranking.
.- UNAM
.- TEC de Monterrey
.- Instituto Politécnico Nacional
.- Universidad Iberoamericana
.- Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara
.-Universidad de Monterrey
